Why they became a mentor: I know firsthand how impactful mentors can be when entering the medical field. There can be so much uncertainty when you are new, surrounded by massive amounts of hierarchy and prestige. I’d like to offer some support and guidance to someone to pay it forward for the mentorship I received when I was learning to be a nurse.
