Lily Schroeder

Bio: My name is Lily Schroeder and I have been a nurse for 12 years, all of which I’ve spent in the emergency department. A few years after I started my career, I was introduced to global health work. My first medical trip was to a remote village in Guatemala, providing general surgical care to the community. Since then, I have been to 11 different countries on over 15 different medical trips, functioning as a nurse, case manager, clinical director, and other positions. I am passionate about working with underserved communities globally with a focus on refugee work.
