Bio: I completed my medical school training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. I then moved to Milwaukee, WI for pediatrics residency and subsequently stayed for pediatric critical care medicine fellowship. I came to Seattle for palliative care and hospice medicine fellowship and stayed on as a joint faculty member at the University of Washington.

Why they became a mentor: The health of our community is better when the workforce is as diverse as the community we serve. I think it’s important for people to have mentorship to continue to pursue their chosen path and to be supported through what is a very challenging journey.
