There are several ways to get involved with the AIM Mentorship Program, whether you are a student seeking mentorship, a mentor, or someone interested in supporting our mission.

Apply to be a mentee

Who can apply: Undergraduate students of color interested in healthcare careers

Commitment: Approximately 2-5 hours per month, depending on mentor-mentee mentees and scheduled programming

Benefits: Guidance, professional development, community support

Apply to be a mentor

Who can apply: Health professionals and graduate students in any health-related field, preferably those who reside in Washington State

Commitment: Approximately 1-3 hours per month, depending on mentor-mentee meetings and scheduled programming

Why being a mentor matters: Mentors will be contributing to diversifying the healthcare workforce, support local students, and giving back to the community

Collaborate with us

Who partnerships are for: Local student and community organizations that share our mission

What partnerships look like: Collab meetings/ professional development workshops, flyer and outreach exchange, virtual informational sessions, and more

Application process

Applications to our mentorship program are rolling, so applications are accepted throughout the year

Applicants will be notified of acceptance and onboarding no more than 2-3 weeks after application is submitted
